Linda & David are committed as PAIRS instructors to helping couples create or restore relationships. PAIRS – (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) is an organization founded by Lori Gordon, PhD. The classes have been focussed upon couples yet the tools and strategies can be applied to any relationship of family and/or corporations.
Linda and her children’s father, John P. Johnson, MD, participated in the PAIRS 16 week course in 1991. As a widow, when Linda met her to-be husband, David McLaughlin, PhD, in 1995 she used the tools learned in PAIRS (Practical Application of Intimate Relationship Skills) to explore their relationship and help work through their new challenges of blending their families. David has also taken training in the PAIRS classes and they are working together to lead upcoming workshops.
